We all enjoy some on-screen action, but the only thing more movie-worthy is the off-screen feuding. We may not even realize that some of the actors and actresses we adore downright despise one another. And some of these celebs were once-upon-a-time friends. Without further ado, here are 10 Hollywood feuds that don’t look like they’re being fixed anytime soon.

Courtney Love & Madonna

The feud between these two stars is one of Hollywood’s most well-known. Madonna was giving an interview with Kurt Loder after MTV’s Video Music Awards in 1995 when Courtney Love was spotted beneath the platform throwing compact makeup items up at her. “Courtney is in desperate need of attention right now,” Madonna said, right before Loder invited her up into the interview. The 7-minute live interview sparked plenty of now infamous back and forth jabs, where Madonna subtlety mentioned Courtney’s drug issues and Courtney threw shade at Madonna’s choice of men.

Donald Trump & Rosie O’Donnell

He may be our President now, but one thing he’ll always be remembered for is his feud with Rosie O’Donnell. It began in 1996 when O’Donnell publicly criticized Trump on “The View” for his apparent “hypocrisy” in forgiving the 1996 Miss USA winner (at the time, he was co-owner of the pageant franchise) for her drug and alcohol use. She criticized his infidelities, hair, and his blatant disregard for paying those who worked for him.

Following the show, Trump said of her, “We’re all a little chubby, but Rosie is just worse than most of us,” he said. “But it’s not the chubbiness. Rosie is a very unattractive person, both inside and out.” It’s now been over a decade and both parties have continued to feud with no signs of ever forgiving and forgetting. During his campaign earlier this year, he said of the controversy, “Somebody who has been very vicious to me, Rosie O’Donnell, I said very tough things to her and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her.”

Shia LaBeouf vs. Frankie Muniz

These two former child stars just don’t have much to talk about anymore. Back in 2003, Muniz was significantly more popular than LaBeouf, and had starred in several movies following his very successful run of “Malcolm in the Middle.” LaBeouf said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, “’I used to see [Muniz] at premieres and stuff and it would always be like he was looking down on me. And then it turned into we’re equal, and then it turned into ‘Oh Frankie? I know that guy.’”

Apparently, LaBeouf still felt slighted. In 2010, he said during an interview with “The Bert Show” that he didn’t “go to many parties and I don’t really hang out in Frank Muniz–type zones.” Muniz retorted with a tweet that read: “Dear Shia Labeouf. It’s getting creepy the fact that you can’t stop talking about me. It’s been 12 years now. I don’t know you. Thanks.”

Christina Aguilera vs Kelly Osbourne

For the most part, this long-time feud has remained one-sided, with Kelly Osbourne throwing jabs at singer Christina Aguilera multiple times. It started in 2002 during an episode of The Osbournes when Kelly said of Aguilera’s My Kind of Christmas album, “I’m not kidding, I wanted to f—ing stab myself.” A year later, she told the Daily Mail, “I’ve seen drag queens who look better.”

Aguilera told Access Hollywood that she’d approached Osbourne about her antics at a club, and Osbourne backed away, claiming she had nothing to say and blaming her mom for the situation, but the feud continued for many years. Eventually, Aguilera bought the Osbourne family home when they moved out, and resold it for nearly $2 million more just two years later. Burn.

Kim Kardashian vs. Paris Hilton

Some friendships aren’t meant to last forever. While Kim Kardashian may be a household name now, she was once Hilton’s closet organizer and often stood in Hilton’s shadow in the social scene. For Hilton, the feud is about giving credit where credit is due, and she feels as though she is the reason for Kardashian’s success. “It’s nice to inspire people,” she told Yahoo Style. “I’m really proud of her and what she’s done.”

Mariah Carey vs. Nicki Minaj

These two have had beef on and off screen. As judges on American Idol, they’ve had their share of on-air smart remarks, rolling eyes, and subtle digs. During an interview with Barbara Walters, Carey was asked whether she thought Minaj was singing about her during a track she recorded during the season. She responded, “Don’t know. I didn’t know she sang. I thought she rapped. Or whatever.” There’s no rhyme or reason to their feud, but it’s alive and well between these two divas.

Mariah Carey vs. Eminem

Mariah Carey is at it again, this time with her rumored fling, rapper Eminem. While Carey vehemently denies her involvement with the rapper, he has a different story to tell. The fling allegedly began in 2001, but by 2002, he hinted at the singer on his third album with lines, “What you trying be? My new wife? / What, you Mariah? Fly through twice” and suggested he’d “beg Mariah to take [him] back” before he censored his lyrics.

During this year, he also told Rolling Stone that he did date the singer, but that he “didn’t like her as a person” and that she “doesn’t really have it all together.” Carey told Larry King that they’d only went out about four times, and that she doesn’t consider that dating (though he later said they dated for six or seven months). She fired her own shots on a track, and Eminem retorted by playing alleged voicemails from the singer on his tour of Carey begging him to call her back. The rapper also admitted that he was upset she continued to deny the truth. In the end, Carey’s song, “Obsessed,” says more than words can.

Taylor Swift vs. Demi Lovato

This feud began when singer/actor Demi Lovato called singer Taylor Swift a “fake feminist” on
Twitter. Then, she went on to say that Swift’s “Squad” of friends was too skinny and not the image women should aspire to. Though this feud is clearly one-sided, fans are unclear why Lovato is so adamantly anti-Swift, while Swift has refused to address Lovato publicly. Some theorize that the hatred stems from Lovato’s jealousy of Swift’s successful career, while others suggest Lovato is upset that former best friend Selena Gomez parted ways with her due to her drug issues and cozied up to Swift instead.

Perez Hilton vs. Will.i.am

This isn’t just an off-screen battle; this feud got physical. It began when celebrity gossip columnist Perez Hilton tweeted: “I’m in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please … I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.”

Rapper/songwriter Will.i.am created a Twiiter specifically to deny the rumors. Will posted a video explaining that Hilton was attacked by a Will.i.am fan after he called Will a “faggot” outside of a nightclub. Hilton replied via his own video, where he then claimed it was Will’s manager, Liborio “Polo” Molina, who attacked him, adding, “Will.I.Am is a coward and a disgusting human being for lying.”

Following a video obtained by TMZ, Molina turned himself in. It’s safe to say, these two will never settle the drama.

Amber Rose vs. Khloe Kardashian

Amber Rose and Khloe Kardashian have a slew of weird ties. Khloe’s sister, Kim Kardashian, is dating Amber Rose’s ex, Kanye West, while Khloe Kardashian’s brother, Rob Kardashian, is in a relationship with Amber Rose’s BFF Blac Chyna. Confusing, we know. But it was sister Kylie Kardashian’s relationship with Blac Chyna’s ex-boyfriend Tyga that started the feud.

During a radio interview with Power 105, Amber Rose said of Tyga and Kylie’s relationship, “She’s a baby. She needs to go to bed at 7 o’clock and relax. [Tyga] should be ashamed of himself. He has a beautiful woman and a baby and left that for a 16-year-old who just turned 17.” Khloe responded via Twitter, saying, “Please stop talking about us in interviews mama. None of us talk about you.”

Kayne West later chimed in, saying, “She’s just soaking in the moment. If Kim had dated me when I first wanted to be with her, it wouldn’t be an Amber Rose.”
